About Me
I’m a father, a husband, a huge nerd and a DJ.. And I’m also a huge beer lover.
A couple of years ago, after being exposed to really good beer, I’ve become quite interested in every aspect of beer. I started off finding different Belgian brewery’s beers, acquiring bottle after bottle and loving what I had found. Tradition, ancient yeast strains, tastes that are distinct and memorable and taste very special..
The more I experience beer, the more I find that there is so much more to it than just tradition. There’s also pride, ingenuity, and a willingness to go out on the line and create something different.
Enter American Craft Beer.
Some of the very best beers I’ve tried come from right here in the states. With such a sorted history here, due to prohibition and big business creating its monopoly on the beer game, it’s amazing to see so many of the smaller craft breweries stepping up and crafting some of the most amazing brews I’ve ever tried.
So now I have a blog. It only makes sense I guess in today’s age and lust for technology (I’m very guilty). This initial intention was just to serve as a simple journal for me to take beer notes. To remember the beers I’ve had. It’s also for anyone that enjoys beer. I provide tasting notes in hopes that either you have something to contribute, or at the very least, to get you interested in good beer..
Cheers to you!
